Sunny is a seasoned Human Resource practitioner with extensive experience at regional and corporate levels to formulate HR & reward strategies; drive talent management and employee engagement; establish HR infrastructure; and lead organisational and cultural change.

He is currently the People Lead for McDonald’s Asia markets and Japan, providing strategic guidance to the markets in HR strategy, culture transformation, talent management, and reward management. Prior to McDonald’s, Sunny has held HR roles in other reputable organisations including ABN AMRO Bank N.V., Sun Microsystems, Agilent Technologies, British Petroleum Amoco, Motorola and MTR.

With a keen interest in HRM education, he has held full-time and visiting appointments at local institutes, including the Hong Kong Baptist University and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. And he also served the Department Advisory Committee of the Department of Management at the City University of Hong Kong.
