DBAAA Support for PolyU’s Student Mentorship Program

We are pleased to share that our interdisciplinary team, under the guidance of distinguished professors and industry experts, has been honored with two awards at the Space Solar Power Station Youth Innovation Competition 2025 (2025年第三届空间太阳能电站青年创新竞赛), hosted by the Chinese Society of Astronautics (中国宇航学会主办).

COMPETITION OVERVIEW

The annual competition fosters innovation in space energy infrastructure, focusing on conceptual design, key technologies, and sustainable applications aligned with global “carbon neutrality” goals.

The team tackled Track 1: Innovative Concepts for Space Energy Facilities, proposing a groundbreaking business model titled “SkyLumen Metropolis” (天光永动城)—a dual-system model integrating space solar power to revolutionize green energy commercialization.”
