Joint Visit to Cyberport: 2026 April 24

PolyU DBA alumni, in collaboration with CityU DBA alumni, recently convened at Cyberport to explore the frontiers of AI innovation. As scholar‑leaders, we are committed to serving as a vital bridge between academic research and practical application.

The visit began at the SmartSpace Fintech Training Room, where we were introduced to Cyberport’s AI Ecosystem and Infrastructure, gaining firsthand insights into the advanced facilities driving AI development. We then visited Roborn Technology Ltd., engaging directly with the CEO to learn about the latest in robotics and AI. Our journey continued at JDC Lab, where we connected with dynamic startups and experienced the inspiring AI Art Competition Exhibition—an initiative proudly supported by DBAAA—alongside a thought‑provoking presentation on Technology and Art.

It was a privilege to lead this initiative and facilitate such a high‑level exchange of ideas, strengthening the link between research excellence and real‑world innovation.
