Dr. Corinna Siu
Dr. Corinna Siu, former investment banker and university lecturer, currently serves as President of International Porcelain Artists & Teachers, Inc. (IPAT), founded in Texas, USA. A distinguished porcelain artist with multiple international awards, she has exhibited extensively across the United States, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Hong Kong, with her works represented in U.S. museum collections. She is also the Editor of IPAT’s global magazine, a publication that connects porcelain artists worldwide.
As Founding President of the IPAT Asia Chapter, a Hong Kong-based non-profit organisation, Dr. Siu has been instrumental in promoting porcelain art through exhibitions, school collaborations, and community projects. Passionate about nurturing young talent, she actively showcases student achievements and leads art-driven charity initiatives. Her works are prominently displayed at St. Francis University, where visitors are greeted by the grandeur of the main hall featuring her Stations of the Cross porcelain series, evoking a profound sense of faith and spirituality. Across the corridors, her diverse religious and cultural-themed artworks line the walls, transforming the campus into a living art gallery.
Beyond her excellence in traditional porcelain painting, Dr. Siu is deeply sensitive to the impact of technological development on the arts. Recognizing the transformative role of AI, she pioneered projects that integrate hand-painted porcelain with AI-generated porcelain styles. This innovative approach has been showcased at St. Francis University and in public competitions across Hong Kong and mainland China. By positioning AI as a creative partner rather than a replacement, Dr. Siu demonstrates how technology can enrich artistic expression, expand cultural dialogue, and inspire new generations to embrace both tradition and innovation.
In recognition of her contributions, Dr. Siu received the Outstanding Person Award in 2024. A 2003 graduate of PolyU’s DBA program, she has been a dedicated member of the DBAAA Executive Committee, currently serving as Vice Chairman after three terms as Honorary Secretary and Communication Director.
