Dr. Michael Xu

Dr. Michael (Weihua) XU is a Professor of Practice at the School of Accounting and Finance of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He received his Doctor of Business Administration from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Master of Social Sciences in the field of Psychology from Hong Kong University and MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also Programme Director of Doctor of Business Artificial Intelligence (DBAI) in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prof. Xu has abundant experience in the AI and Finance sectors, having worked for JP Morgan’s asset management, Rongying Capital Management and United Great Asset Management for over 15 years. He has been at the forefront of adopting AI technologies to improve business performance and deliver value for his clients.
