Dr. Derek Chung

Dr. Derek Chung is the Founder of Dr WMS Ltd, a company specialized in advising formulation of strategies & business models for execution excellence & delivery of remarkable business results.

Prior to his current venture, Derek was a veteran banker who had solid & over 30 years’ experience in the banking industry, focusing on retail banking business, overseeing sales & distribution channels, cross-border business development & collaboration, customer segments, retail banking & wealth management products. During his career journey, he spearheaded major strategic initiatives, new franchise & product innovations in different multi-national & Chinese banks. His leadership & extensive experience in sales & marketing led various authorized institutions in sustaining competitive advantages & achieving remarkable business results. In particular, he launched several first-in-town products & programs which contributed to the development of retail banking in Hong Kong. In addition to his extensive banking experience, he was appointed as Associate Director of a reputable property developer, responsible for the sales of real estate projects in 2017-18.

As an experienced banking professional with strong background in property market, mortgage loans & wealth management, Derek was the spokesperson of different banks & developer, & appeared in top broadcasting, print & digital media, & seminars of statutory & non-statutory bodies.
