Dr. Hurbert Chan

Dr Hubert Chan Chung-yee has over 30 years of experience in information communication technology industry. His company’s businesses range from distribution, retail and product development of IT/telecommunications products to systems integration and robotic machine in Hong Kong, China and the Asia Pacific Region.

Dr. Chan is very active in promoting the ICT industry in Hong Kong. He had served in the Executive Committee of Communications Associations of Hong Kong (www.cahk.hk ) for over 10 years and was elected as the Chairman of the Associations from 2006-2012. Dr. Chan is now occupying the post of Honorary Advisors of the Association.

Further, Dr. Chan takes a strong part in charity as well. In 1986 he entered the Rotary Club of Hong Kong Island East, and became President of the club from 1996 to 1997. From 2005 onward, Dr. Chan is the Council member of Society for the Promotion of Hospice Care. Dr. Chan also is Council member of Hong Kong Federation of Youth Group from 2010 onward to help in different charity functions.

Dr. Chan also awarded The Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s Ninth “Outstanding Alumni Award” to tribute to his remarkable professional achievements and contributions to his alma mater as well as the community.
