Dr Lee Yin Toa

Dr. Yin Toa Lee is a Capital Markets Partner at EY based in Hong Kong with professional service experience across industry sectors, including financial services, TMT and biotechnology. He is responsible for providing auditing and consulting services to enterprises, and has extensive experience in assisting domestic enterprises overseas (including reverse mergers and successful backdoor listings).

He is a subject expert on audit transparency, expected credit losses, asset management, fair value measurement, and insurance issues in EY Asia Pacific, helping audit teams and clients answer questions about US SEC and HKEX reporting and supervision. He reviews pre-IPO evaluations, cash flow forecasts, business budgets, capitalization and liquidation status, and support clients in capital raising activities.

He assists clients in establishing the most advantageous equity and debt financing structures. He provides clients with advice on capital market reporting needs related to stock and bond issuances. He has an in-depth understanding of IFRS and U.S. GAAP cross-border M&A and capital markets transactions, business combinations, taxation, restructuring, equity compensation and revenue recognition.
