Ir Dr. K.K. Wong joined Kumshing to take over the family business in 1985. Prior to that, Ir Dr. Wong worked for several international consulting engineering firms and gained extensive experience in the design, construction, supervision and contract management of sizable projects.
In addition to his practice in academic research and professional consulting for over a decade, Ir Dr Wong has managed large scale infrastructure projects in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Canada for over 35 years. As its Chairman, he has led Kum Shing Group to play a critical role in the development, operation and maintenance of Hong Kong’s energy and mobility infrastructures. As evident by his impressive track record in social and community service and as well as his philanthropic contribution in education, Ir Dr. Wong has demonstrated not only his commitment to the engineering profession, but success in his endeavour to apply the experience and vision of a seasoned engineer with strong business sense to public services.
